Madison Beer may have been a Los Angeles Chargers fan long before she was linked to their star quarterback. Days after the 26-year-old singer was photographed with Justin Herbert on the set of her new music video in LA, fans uncovered photos of Beer attending a Chargers home game last December at SoFi Stadium.

Beer, dressed casually in a dark blue sweatshirt and jeans, was seen watching the Chargers' 34-27 comeback win over the Denver Broncos on Dec. 19. Los Angeles trailed 21-13 at halftime before Herbert rallied the team, completing 23 of 31 passes for 284 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.
Herbert, the No. 6 overall pick in the 2020 draft, is preparing for his sixth NFL season. Through 79 career appearances, he has thrown for 137 touchdowns against 45 interceptions and added 13 rushing scores. At 27, he remains the face of the franchise but has kept most of his personal life well away from the spotlight.
That changed earlier this week when Herbert was spotted chatting with Beer during her video shoot. Photos obtained by the New York Post showed the pair talking outdoors and interacting with crew members. While the nature of their relationship is unclear, the images quickly spread online.
Beer, a native of Jericho, N.Y., has become a prominent voice in the pop scene and has earned two Grammy nominations. She was previously linked to TikTok influencer Nick Austin, whom she dated beginning in 2020. In an April 2025 cover story with Cosmopolitan, Beer admitted she tends to be all-in when it comes to relationships.

"I love people. I meet someone, I love them. I'm like, 'Okay, I'm never letting you go. You'll be with me forever until you hurt me,'" she said. "Because I have such a weird life and never feel safe and comfortable with someone, when I cross that line of 'you're my boyfriend,' it feels really big."
Whether Beer returns to SoFi Stadium this season remains to be seen, but her recent appearance with Herbert has already given Chargers fans something else to talk about before Week 1.
