In a conversation earlier this week with longtime family friend and radio host Bubba the Love Sponge, Brooke questioned how her father's reported leukemia went undetected through multiple past surgeries. She also expressed concern that no autopsy had been performed following his sudden death from a heart attack on July 24.
"I do think it's weird that no autopsy was performed," Brooke Hogan said, as first reported by People. "Yes, you can have a heart attack, but what was the reason for the heart attack is the question. Because he was up and doing breathing exercises and stuff. That means that the surgery on his heart was a success and it was working."
Medical records later confirmed the WWE Hall of Famer had been diagnosed with leukemia prior to his death, a detail that had not been publicly shared.
On Thursday, Brooke posted another statement, saying she supports her father's wife's decision to delay cremation. She also made a public offer to cover the cost of an autopsy if necessary.
"With all of the speculation and uncertainty over my dad's death, I want to personally offer to pay for an autopsy if that's what it takes to get it done," she wrote. "My dad's dignity and legacy deserve it."
Hulk Hogan, born Terry Bollea, was 71. He was one of the most recognizable figures in professional wrestling history and remained a cultural icon for decades.
Though Brooke Hogan was not present at her father's funeral, she previously explained that decision in detail, saying she chose to grieve privately out of respect for her father's wishes. The two had been estranged in recent years but had reconnected before his passing.
