Angel Reese has officially had enough. The Chicago Sky forward unleashed a fiery critique of WNBA officiating following an 80-75 loss to the Minnesota Lynx, sounding off in both her postgame press conference and later on social media.

"It's tough when you talk to officials, and I asked them, 'Hey, we've only been to the free throw line twice up until the fourth quarter,' and she tells me it's not her job," Reese said after the game. "So it's frustrating because I know how hard we are battling inside. I think we came down and fought as hard as we could with what we had."
Then Reese dropped the niceties.
"But [the officiating] has to be fixed," she said. "And I don't give a damn if I get fined because that s—- is cheap, and I'm tired of this s—-. 'Cause I've been nice, and I've been humble with it, but I am tired of this s—-."
Reese's frustration stemmed from a noticeable free-throw disparity — Chicago attempted just eight foul shots compared to Minnesota's 17. The No. 7 overall pick has quickly become one of the league's most visible stars, and she's now the latest to blast the WNBA's officiating crew.
Hours later, she doubled down on X (formerly Twitter), writing: "IM SICK OF IT!! DO BETTER. @WNBA."
She's not alone. Over the past month, Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White and Las Vegas Aces guard Kelsey Plum have each criticized league officials for inconsistent and, in their words, dangerous officiating.
"I drive more than anyone in the league, so to shoot six free throws is f—-ing absurd," Plum said after a June 9 overtime loss. "I pray before the game, like, f—-, I'm over it."
The league has yet to publicly address the mounting complaints. But if the stars keep speaking up, it may have no choice.
